Accelerated Learning 1: Learning - Teaching revisited

Let's start by talking about Accelerated Learning itself. Most teachers or presenters must put this into their heads that in learning, the most important party involved is the LEARNER. It is the learner not the teacher. And what most of us do, since the start of time, whatever we teach is whatever we think the learner should learn. It has always about the teacher. No wonder the students are bored to death!

Therefore, the first paradigm shift as a teacher is that, you don't teach but you help the learner learn. Once this paradigm is ingrained in your mind, it becomes clear as to where the direction of your teaching goes. Put yourself into the learners shoes and ask, what use of this that I'm going to teach if I had my students master it? The next question you should ask yourself is this has all my teaching styles and materials teacher focus (meaning, you create the materials you want to teach - in short "syok sendiri")?

We shall continue more the next time. The next time we will go right into the cheese of it. I promise. By the mean time, ask yourself the questions mentioned.
